Wine in a box? Why not? Three-liter boxes hold four bottles of wine but take up much less space. They're totally totable and won't shatter poolside or dockside.

I have a couple of refreshing whites and some summer reds that I'd like to add to the list.
1. Kendall-Jackson's 2005 Vintner's Reserve Sauvignon Blanc
2. Rodney Strong's 2004 Charllotte's Home Sauvignon Blanc
3. Meridan Vineyards 2005 Pinot Griggio
The reds are:
1. Gnarley Head 2005 Zinfandel
2. Rodney Strong's 2003 Knotty Vines Zinfandel
3. Parker Station 2005 Pinot Noir - pair with salmon off the grill or sip alone!
The whites are great with seafood off the grill and the reds are great with burgers, ribs and steaks off the grill.

Does anyone have a brand of Pinot Grigio that they like and is available in most states around $10.00? I like Meridian Pinot Grigio.

I also want to share a "wine find" in the red wine catagory, Bogle Petite Sirah. Big, bold with a sweet vanilia kiss at the end. I love this wine with a juicy ribeye steak off of the grill with garlic mashed potatoes and salad!

Hi! Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. Thanks for reading, and thanks for all your feedback.
Funny you should mention Pinot Grigio. A wine geek friend of mine (with a serious cellar) recently called and raved about a Pinot Grigio bottle I had given him. Turning Leaf Reserve Pinot Grigio--it's about $8. He was amazed at how much character this wine had at such a low price. So often, Pinot Grigios can be so watery. This one has plenty of fruit and a nice little crispness. I think it's a terrific party wine, as well as something you can just have on hand for anynight sipping. That's my top pick!
Thanks again for writing.

I want to share an inexpensive red wine find. 2003 Cellar #8 Cabernet Sauvignon. I paid $12.99 for it here in Little Rock, AR but it may be less in other states. This wine is filled with dark fruit lavors with hints of oak. It has some depth for such an inexpesive cab, with moderate tannins. I can drink it with a steak or alone on a fall or winter evening. Ty it!
