Switzerland’s number one chocolate brand is now available in the United States. Packaged in 3½-ounce bars by Chocolat Frey AG, the chocolate comes in five surprising flavor combinations—Citron & Poivre (Lemon and Pepper), Pecan & Caramel, Bouquet d’Oranges, Café & Cacao and White Blueberry. Aside from their great flavor, the best part is they cost only $1.99 each and are available at Target stores nationwide. Perfect for Easter baskets.
In Season
Next to the mustard greens, kale and arugula, you can now find dandelion greens. With their hearty, assertive flavor, they’ll add a new dimension to any dish accustomed to fresh spinach. Give them a try.
Go Fish
To help you choose the “healthiest fish in the sea,” chefs, pediatricians and sustainable food experts have collaborated on a program called KidSafe Seafood (www.KidSafeSeafood.org). The program assesses 65 of the most commonly eaten seafoods and ranks them based on safety (lack of contaminants such as mercury and PCBs), nutrition and environmental friendliness. Their top picks are, luckily, some of kids’ favorites—wild Alaskan salmon (preferably pink, Coho or chum), tilapia (preferably U.S. or Central American), shrimp (preferably Northern U.S. and Canadian), farmed bay scallops, farmed blue mussels and farmed U.S. crayfish. Go to www.relishmag.com for crunchy oven-baked fish sticks.

Spring Fling
For an easy Easter centerpiece, place a container of wheat grass (available in natural and specialty food stores) in a shallow footed bowl or trifle dish, and tie with a ribbon. Surround with Spanish moss (available at craft stores such as Michael’s) and dyed eggs.
