- 2nd place: Peeling the Wild Onion, a compilation of recipes published by the Junior League of Chicago.
- 3rd place: A Thyme to Entertain: Menus and Traditions of Annapolis, published by the Junior League of Annapolis, Md.
This year, the deadline for entries of cookbooks published in 2008 and 2009 is Sept. 25. Winning organizations receive contributions to their charities.
