Article: prix fixe
Just a helpful hint, in France, most people don't say prix fixe to describe a fixed-price meal, in most restaurants it is called "le menu" where you will be able to choose from a list of entrees (the appetizer in french), plats (main course) and desserts (you can figure that one out) and one flat price, there are similar options in most bistros and cafes as well as michelin starred restaurants. what we call the "menu" in english is called the "la carte", thus ordering off the menu instead of taking the prix fixe option is called ordering "a la carte."
