Article: Cake as Big as Texas
Well, I was a lot confused by this article. I am NOT a "real" Texan, but I did live there for 8 years. I've had Texas Sheet Cake several times and have made it a few times myself. And I NEVER have seen or heard of it with German Chocolate Frosting. The recipes I have seen ALL use a cocoa-based chocolate icing that is spread onto the cake while the cake is still hot and then sprinkled with chopped pecans.

I'm sure a sheet cake with the German Chocolate Frosting would be tasty, but I just wouldn't call that Texas Sheet Cake.

where to find relish

Relish magazine is distributed monthly through newspapers across the country. If you local paper does not carry Relish, ask them why not?
