I find that rosé wines really need to be chosen with care. Some can really disappoint--they're often either too sweet or, too far in the other direction--bone dry (sans fruit!).

Another great pick that offers bright red-fruit flavors but without overt sweetness is: Domaine de Nizas Rosé from the Languedoc region of France. It's $15--lightly spicy, just off dry, with plenty of fruit and refreshment.
