Mint Julep Tea

Mint Julep Tea Recipe

Refreshing and not nearly as potent as the real thing.

Ingredients
12 to 16 mint sprigs, plus more for garnish
1 tablespoon sugar
1/3 cup bourbon
Juice of 1 lemon
1 recipe Southern Sweet Tea
1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
1. Lightly crush mint leaves with sugar in a serving pitcher. Add bourbon, lemon juice, Southern Sweet Tea and sliced lemon. Serve over crushed ice. Garnish each serving with a sprig of mint. Yield: 2 quarts (10 servings).
